Hi,
I was wondering if I can program an extension for OpenOffice impress to save some of the parameters/images/videos/audio of a created presentation. I want to represent some of the presentation information, but in an XML + folders in a ZIP with images, sounds, rtf texts...
Can an extension of OpenOffice provide this? If so I will start learning how to make extensions in open office
Thanks in advance
Will extensions help me to do this?

Rather than learn to program an OpeOffice extension, perhaps it might be better to save your project in XML (on the dropdown in /File /Save As) and manipulate that file to give you the result you require.

Re: Will extensions help me to do this?
I would like to program an extension to make it easy, for people who use my program, to create "special" presentations for it taking advantage of the Impress Interface
