[Solved-Workaround] Language tool installed, not working

Post by bse1963 »

Edit: Split from Cannot install the Language Tool extension as this is a different problem
I have a Windows 10, 64 bit system.

I have installed AOO 4.1.10 I have also installed LanguageTool 5.4 and 32 bit Jave (see attached)

I receive no errors but it also doesn't show any errors it's supposed to show. (see attached)

But did you follow the instructions in the document? They are useful.

Check /Tools /LanguageTool /Options : General tab, and make sure "Use document language" is checked. Also try toggling /Tools /LanguageTool /Switch off-on

I did, but they were of no help.

Then Language Tool is not installed. I had a problem with installing LanguageTool 5.4 on linux; for many reasons I did not wish at present to delete my OO User Profile, so I reverted to LT 5.3 which is installing correctly.

I to just had to revert to LT 5.3 as well in order to get it to work.
