Printing from BASIC IDE

Post by RoryOF »

I am having a problem printing in colour from OO's BASIC IDE. I can print OK in B&W, whether to a native B&W printer or to a colour printer. However, for debugging I would find it useful to get prints of the code from the IDE in colour, but no matter what I do, I cannot get colour prints. Investigation shows that code selected and copied from the IDE is placed on the clipboard in B&W.

It would be helpful if some other user would confirm if he can or cannot print in colour from the Basic IDE - ditto for Copy and Paste.

Colour printer in use; Epson Wp4535, working correctly from other applications.

Andrew Pitonyak has made available an extension Code Colorizer

I haven't yet tried this.

I succesfully used the Code Colorizer. Copy your Basic code into a writer document and let the colorizer do its job there.
