Java: Templates and custom fields

Postby mahescho » Sun Mar 17, 2013 6:04 pm

Hi,

I'm experimenting with templates where I replace the contet of custom fields and then save it as PDF with java. When I stay with text fields everything works as expected. Then I've tried to use number formated fields in the template and feed a doubble object to them, but nothing happende. Even worse was my idea to use a date formated field and set it to a date value. I think I've missed some thing fundamental. Can some one please help?

TIA

Found a way to work this around. I only use text fields an fill in formated text.

But if would be nice if some one can show me a way to use native datatypes (int, doubble, date) and let libreoffice format them.
