What section of Open Office are you working with? I'm suspecting it's either Base, Calc or Writer
Can you upload your file so that we can see just what you are working with?
There are just too many possibilities to even make a guess based on the information you've given so far.

Edit: please note that i was posting this reply at the same time as you uploaded your attachment.
if you're using report builder then
1. open the report for edit
2. select the appropriate text box
3. if necessary hit (F4) to open the Properties pane
4. hit the General tab
5. ensure that 'Formatting' = 'Text'

this problem appears to be caused when setting the sort order in the report wizard.
COULD THIS ISSUE BE THE SAME AS DESCRIBED IN THE PREVIOUS THREAD Report showing 0 data
Edit: sorry the solution is ineffective.
i can only suggest that you use your table as the data source & set the sort order from within the wizard or install the report builder extension.
maybe someone else can offer & alternative solution
the solution therefore is to use an order by clause in your query.

here's how>>
right click your query & select 'Edit in SQL View'
add order by "Provider's Company Name" to the very end & save.

recreate your report without setting a sort order.

Another workaround:

Open the query in SQL view and append

Code: Select all

ORDER BY "Provider Contact - Last Name" ASC
Save the query.
Create a new report.
Please, edit this topic's initial post and add "[Solved]" to the subject line if your problem has been solved.

I suggest that you install the Oracle Report Builder extension. I had no problem creating a report showing all your data, whether I sorted it by company, names, etc. or not.
ORB will give you much more scope to design a nice report.
