Sorted in Query but not in Report

I've created a database that I want to sort by company and then by last name. The query does this just fine. When I create a dynamic report and try to have it sort, I get gibberish. I read in another post to let the query do the sorting and just have the report show that query, but when I do, the report is sorted by ID#, not as it should be like the query. I have attached a sample file. Thanks for your help!

Reporting is broken in many ways. I use to use Calc as reporting engine.

Wow, you just render OpenOffice completely useless to me

unless there is some kind of work around. Has anyone figured out how to sort your reports? Will this ever get fixed?
