My database report is Vertical instead of horizontal. Why?

Post by basejump_barry »

I would like my report to actually have the same layout as my database.
Any ideas?
Thanks,

Not sure that I understand your question. Do you have a problem of paper orientation? You could attach a sample document, for that use the "Upload Attachment" tab located just be low the "Submit" button.

A database stores raw data without any layout. What you see when you open a table is an arbitrary grid to filter, sort and supervise your data without any page layout. It's not supposed to be printed.
A report is a text document with a printable layout. It is filled with database data.
You can right-click>Edit a report and change the layout, the formatting and everything just like you would do in Writer (Format>Page... for instance).
Please, edit this topic's initial post and add "[Solved]" to the subject line if your problem has been solved.
