Connect to Existing Data

Post by JamesJoey »

I finally created a table with imported data from access.
I then created a new db for the forms.
But I have no idea how to connect to the db with the data to create a form.

If I'm understanding you correctly, you have a Base file with tables that were once in access. You should create the forms in that Base file.

When I select 'Forms' in the left pane, the commands (Create Form in Design View.. and Use the Wizard...) are disabled[/b.

Have you installed Writer? Base forms are actually Writer files, so it requires installation of Writer before you can make forms.
