Dynamic Calc Link

I'm sorry if this has been asked before.

My spreadsheet has several sheets.

I want to be able to update data in the sheets from within Calc and have those changes reflected in Base tables, and therefore queries.

Purpose is reports based on queries.

The purpose of using Calc is for date calculations.

I've tried drag and drop the sheets into the base table window, and that works. However, I cannot make a query or view on more than the one table.

Using ODBC, I cannot get the links to work.

Each sheet has a common field (Who). However, the column name in each sheet is distinct - Sheet1 Who; Sheet2 Who; Sheet3 Who.

Other than those 3 fields, the data in each sheet is different. The tables are joined by this common field.

In 2 of the sheets, in Base, the Sheet1 Who, would be a one to many join.

However, the resulting query shows multiple entries for each table. That is, Sheet1 Who will show, for instance, 3 instances of one record.

I hope I made this clear.

The only thing that is stopping me from using Base instead of Access is the date calculation which is necessary for me.
