Using multiple tables in one form?

Here's what I have: OpenOffice 3.2.1 running on Windows Server 2003 SBS R2. I have setup a wamp server that we use for our other programs that require mysql. But I also have the OOoBase MySQL ODBC driver installed and setup. We have a database created in MySQL that has a number of. That number in the future will increase as we add more data requirements.

Ok so here's what I need. I need to be able to take data from multiple tables in one database and be able to display that data in one form and also be able to create, edit, and delete records. I have tried setting up a query for this but I can only get it to display the data in read only, it will not let me modify the records. Is there any way someone can go over this with me from square one and work my way through this so I can get it working the way we need it to work for us. I would really be grateful for any help anyone can provide.

Queries in OOo not editable as in other programs, it is read only.
Only tables can be used for data input with forms.

Ok I figured that so what am I supposed to do then to be able to edit data from multiple tables with one form?????

You can add so much subforms as many tables you have if it fits into one form.
