Using the Form Wizard is a good place to start.
If you select Forms from the main database window, and look in the Tasks pane for "Use Wizard to Create Form".
From the wizard you can select which table and fields you want to appear on your form. Once the form is created you can open it in the Edit/Design mode to move things around to change the sizes and locations of the controls on the form. If you right click on a control box and select Control from the pop-up list you will get the Properties dialog where you can inspect/edit individual properties of that control box.
There are quite a few tutorials and examples that you can access by clicking on Base at the top of this Forum Page and then click on Base Tutorials on the list of available topics. The Tutorials page also has a link to a list Examples.
