Post by essa.2331 »

I'm going with LibreOffice base .. i finished the DB tables and forms design .. and i want to secure my forms in any way

1- Hide all toolbars in the forms.
2- Load the forms with a fixed width and height.
3- Prevent the user to re-size the form window.
4- hide the title bar buttons (minimize-maximize-close).

You can't. Trust your users. All forms are attached to ordinary office documents.
All you may do is saving the form as a stand-alone document and write-protect it on file system level or via File>Properties>Security

2/3/4 I believe are not possible in LibreOffice or OpenOffice.

1 can be done with a macro: Hiding toolbars
OpenOffice 4.1.1 on Windows 10, HSQLDB 1.8 split database
