Forms won't cycle data

"Found the problem. I am embarassed to say that the forms navigation tool bar was not selected in writer. Thanks to all who puzzled over this."

I am creating forms usning wizard. I want one that will cycle through all the data in my table. I have done this in the past by choosing 'Columnar-Labels Left' arrangement in step 5. However now when I do this I just get the form with the first record. at the bottom it says 'page 1 of 1' with no means to cycle to next line of table. also the controls are greyed. that is I cannot select the button to go to design mode.

I am using oo 2.3.1 with Vista. I even redownloaded oo and rebooted.

Any help is appreciated

how many records to you have in the table? do you have the allow modifications, deletions, and additions options set to yes (data tab of form properties dialog)?

I have been using 5-10 entries for now as I experiement with design of my database.
Yes I have allowed modifications, deletions and additions.

I also tried to create the same form using the expample bibliography database provided with oo. I had the same problem.
