[Solved] AOO Writer index line pops up

When I use Open Office Writer an index line pops up on my page showing page number and file name. How can I stop it?

If you mean that which shows as you use the scroll bar on the right vertical of the OO window, use /Tools /Options /Openoffice /View (Preferences : Options /OpenOffice /View on a Mac) and uncheck "Tips" under "Help"

You can upload a screenshot - the upload tab is below the Submit button on the PostReply ore FullEditor windows.

Thank you - I have found the appropriate menu now, but there is no "Help" and therefore non "Tips".

It's in the OpenOffice section, General tab, then the Help section is on the right panel.
