Creating Labels

Post by Sjef »

Hi,

I'm trying to create labels with small pictures and some formatting. I don't know how to do that. Menu: New --> Labels. I can see the Inclusion box and I've set my Label definition. The question is about: How can I re-use previous build/designed labels with formatted text and pictures. Copy/paste from existing pieces of text do not work. Anyone hints or tips?

Regards,

Sjef

You can certainly copy/paste individual items from your previous label design. Copying a whole label is likely to be tricky, unless the labels are the same size.

Once you get through the wizard and have your label sheet, it is just an ordinary Writer document: you can change it however you want.

Does that help? I'm not sure I get your question clearly.

this article by Solveig Haugland may be of some help. She's got lots of articles on Labels in OOo.
