Writer Template for Tabbed eBook

Hello,

I use Windows 7, and I would like a tabbed eBook template or extension. I have seen one on MS Word, Apple iOS Edition, but I want it for OpenOffice for Windows.
I currently use Writer 4.1.1. Has anyone come across this? I could not find it.

Thanks,

Mike

Greetings--welcome to the community forum!

Have you looked at the writer2epub extension?

Also, although it's not an OO extension, Calibre can convert ODF to many ebook formats.

What exactly is a "tabbed" ebook?

Those are my words for it; it's where every chapter is section off with a tab, and the tabs has a title on it, helping the reader find what they are looking for. You see this a lot in printed workbooks - usually in a spiral-bound, these days. I know there is search, but I would also like to have a tabbed feature, so they can browse more like a regular book.

I will check these suggestions, but I was really hoping to find an OO extension.

Thanks,

Mike

For Information: it is easy to make a hyperlinked Table of Contents in OpenOffice, which Calibre will use when converting to ebook.

Thanks! I was wondering how that worked.
