MLA template numbering

Good day,

I downloaded the MLA templates, (madmikeX3 (Michael A. Parks)) and installed them in OO 4.0.0, (AOO400m3(Build:9702) - Rev. 1503704).

The problem is that when I put in my name and page number in the upper right "jbarry 1" the template never increments the page number, so page 2 of my essays shows "jbarry 1". I've tried everything suggested in the OO help pages (Page numbering) and I cannot seem to get this right.

I had this problem once before in OO 3.2 and with help it was righted. (I received an "A").

Any help would be much appreciated.

I replaced your page number with a Page Number Field using Insert -> Fields -> Page Number. Is that what you are looking for?
