I KNOW I've done this and it worked, but I'll be darned if I can remember how and I can't find the thread in my searches.
I want to permanently change the format of my envelopes. I know I can do this using a template, but I believe I did it in 2.4 as a part of the envelope, and bring it up the same every time I 'Insert->Envelope'. I prefer to use this as it seems a little easier and quicker.
My thanks in advance for your help.

Re: Envelope - saving formating changes
You used to use page styles in 2.4? That would be way cool.

I know this is an old thread but perhaps it might shed some light: [Issue] Envelope insert always uses default template.
