Default margins

Postby ctm » Mon Nov 07, 2011 9:35 am

I am using version 3.3.0 of Open Office Writer and when I start a new text document, the default document has margins (top-bottom-left-right) of 0.79 and I want to my my default document to have margins of 0.25. How do I do this?
OpenOffice version 3.3.0 is installed on Windows 7.

F11 to open Styles and Formatting window. Click on 4th icon from left to get Page Styles. Right click on Default, select Modify, select Page Tab. Now change your Page size from the dropdown (if needed) and adjust the tab settings as you require. Now OK out.
Apache OpenOffice 4.1.5 on Xubuntu 18.04 (mostly 64 bit version) and infrequently on Win2K/XP

Open a new document, set the margins and save as your Default Template. See Help for "default templates".
