Dbase error form Template from 1 machine only?

Whew... I have spent serious hours trying to resolve a problem with a database on a form shared amongst several Computers, the name listing was updated on a vista machine but originates from an xp machine, the one xp machine will not access the database and comes up with the following error:

The connection to the data source "x" could not be established,

General error: org.hsqldb.lib.FileSystemRuntimeException:" java.io.IOException: o:/OOO320/src/package/source/xstor/xstorage.cxx: :3331;

Any ideas? this happens on only one machine, the other two using this same template and dbase over a network, have no problem. I have uninstalled Open Office and cleaned up the registry and reinstalled. I have also installed the latest Java in case? but no change.
