Where do I put a template file I downloaded from online?

Okay, so I downloaded an Open Office template for Writer. Well, I have no idea where to put the file at. I am using Open Office 3.2.1. Please help!

File--->Templates--->Organize--->MY Templates--->Commands--->Import Template and browse to wherever you have the template stored.

I open from desktop or downloads whatever then go

File > Template > Save

pick a groupa and it's done
