[Solved] Spam filters on websites

Postby acbaird » Fri Nov 20, 2009 1:09 pm

Hi-

The spam filters on comments at these two sites:

http://templates.services.openoffice.org
http://extensions.services.openoffice.org

are a welcome addition, but now I can't post embedded-link informational comments on my own extensions/templates, like this one:

http://templates.services.openoffice.org/en/node/2933

For example, I'd like to post a similar comment on my new templates:

http://templates.services.openoffice.org/en/node/2989
http://templates.services.openoffice.org/en/node/2990

but now the spam filter won't let me. Help!

FYI, I've sent the above message to website@extensions.openoffice.org several times, but haven't been able to get any response. Do you have any suggestions on someone to approach?

Many thanks-
Alan C. Baird

Sorry, the team managing the forum is made of users like you, no link with the rest of the OOo sphere. I fear you'll have to wait for the webmaster answer.

Hi Hagar-

1) Someone finally told me that I needed to subscribe to a mailing list, in order for the emails to get through.

2) Someone else located the guy who's causing all the havoc:

http://extensions.openoffice.org/servle ... me=website

Thanks,
Alan C. Baird
