Template - first page, second page

I managed to create a default template, however as I progress through the document, following pages are blank. I would like to automatically have page 2 and all following pages furnished with my custom template, not necessarily the same as page 1. How is this done?

Any content in the template will be copied to a document made from the template. If your template has two pages, a document made from it will start with those same two pages.

If the template provides page style(s) that specify a header or footer, then that will appear on each new page.

Apart from that, I'm not sure I understand what you want the template to do.
