Problem downloading templates

I've been trying to download a couple of resume templates(sans serif and general resume), but i have had no success. I currently have open office 3.0 and i am running vista on my laptop. Each time I click on the 'use it' button to download the template, i get a blank white screen and nothing happens. This is very frustrating, do u have any suggestions?

What site are trying to download from? A link would be helpful.

What web browser do you use? Once you click the button, your web browser should ask you what it should do with it, either open it directly or save it first.

I use internet explorer, nothing happens at all just a blank screen. It doesn't ask for anything.

I think so. But you need to ask in a Windows Vista forum to see why IE can't do that.

I'm new to OOo and have just encountered the same problem - went here http://templates.services.openoffice.or ... Letter.ott to get a formal letter template and got a white screen. done! appears in the bottom left corner indicating that download is complete. When I right click in the white area then select "Properties", the wording next to the icon says "not available" - which presumably means the template is not available to download. Tried a number of other templates on this site with same response. Comments anyone! I'm using OOo3.0, XP Pro SP2 and IE6.

I just tried with Firefox and it works absolutely fine with the formal template above.

Also works fine in IE7. Perhaps its time to update IE or check your settings.

What template and what browser are you using? ARe you downloading from here http://templates.services.openoffice.org/?

I'm having this same problem. I'm using IE 8 and i used the link you provided, and i linked directly from the software. Firefox seems to work ok. It seems to be a problem with IE.
