Vertical/horizontal pitch

Post by chait »

In Writer, trying to set up a user template for file folder labels. I don't understand what vertical & horizontal pitch are. Also, I don't have any Avery label templates--are those available somewhere? Thank you.

The "pitch" is the distance that each label is offset from the previous one. For sheets with a grid of labels, the pitch will be constant: each column of labels will be offset by the horizontal pitch; each row will be offset by the vertical pitch.
