Manual template that show page numbers in table of contents?

Post by hellothere »

I found this template for a user manual: https://templates.openoffice.org/en/tem ... plate-free

I just need something very basic with a table of contents (supporting headings/subheadings/subsubheadings etc.) and it should be able to dynamically show the page numbers.

The template I linked above is not showing the page numbers in table of contents for some reason, either an error or because they have not imlpemented it?

I'm happy to use a different template of course if there are better ones. Any advice appreciated. Thanks.

There is a redundant tab stop at the end of the Structure for each level in the TOC. Writer uses the tab stop between the Entry text and the Page number. Delete the tab stop at the end and the page numbers will appear in the TOC.
