How to install a Code Snippet?

Post by greyham »

I've come across a Code Snippet that will allow me to alter the resolution of JPEG files exported from Draw, at http://codesnippets.services.openoffice ... xport.snip

But I can't work out how to install or use it. Do I copy and paste the code and add it somehow using Tools -> Macros?

I know it must be blindingly obvious to anyone skilled in the art, since http://codesnippets.services.openoffice.org/index.xml doesn't mention how to use the snippets. Can anyone please give me a heads up on this?

Thanks,
Graham

A moderator may move your thread to 'Macros' since this board is not for asking questions.

This thread on the other forum may help: How to install a macro found here. There may be a similar thread on the Macros board here.

Essentially what you have to do is open the macros editor and paste in the code.

I've made a quick tutorial: [Tutorial] How to install a code snippet.

Don't hesitate to post your comments here (and not after the tutorial).
