[Solved] Set Macro Security to low

Is there a macro that will set the macro security level to low as well other requirements to allow a macro to execute?

Reason I ask is our present LO application does not allow us to set this permanently. Our IT department is a bit paranoid.

Thank you

Set macro security very high and define your home directory as trusted source.

I understand and have attempted just that; however, the settings are not saved permanently

I have attempted to use the options dialog as you have instructed and as I have read. Unfortunately, the next day, I have to execute the process again. I have contacted our IT department but with 3600 stores my request is a very low priority. I thought if there was a method to
do it by means of a macro. . .

Thank you

Fire up your MRI and choose menu:Targets>Configuration...
and start with /org.openoffice.Office.Common

2. open registrymodifications.xml in your browser.

I don't have MRI on this computer and not allowed to download. I have it on my personal computer but I believe what I develop is limited only to my
pc. Correct?

Thank you

No, this is incorrect.

I don't have MRI on this computer and not allowed to download.
If your job is to develop some macros, then you need some tools for that. (MRI, Xray, and many others). Say to your admin/boss that these tools are necessary for your job.

Much simpler than macros: A post-login script to overwrite the enforced registrymodifications.xml with your own.
