[Solved] Creating macro in Base

Post by AfTech54 »

Hi!
Im trying to create a macro in an OOo Base form like this:
Tools > Macros > Record a Macro
I'll get the mini dialog
Hitting a button in the form
Hit Stop recording in the mini dialog
I'll don't get the dialog to set name for the macro
I've tested i both "quit design setting" and in an open form with the same result.
(working fine in Write)

Never got it working as well. Better to start with http://www.pitonyak.org/database and look to the top post in section Macro's. You need to write your macro's bij hand for Base.

It's not easy to find but according to OpenOffice Help
Recording a Macro
The macro recording functionality is only available for text documents in OpenOffice Writer and for spreadsheets in OpenOffice Calc.
