[Solved] Can't see the code window in MRI
Hello,
I try to use MRI, have read the Tutorial
But I can't see the code window, when I pass the mouse on the upper border of the status I do not see any handle.
With code Off the line is thin : With code On, the line grows, but no handle...

Hallo
Thats a bit tricky… place the Cursor exactly on the Frameborder between the Statusbar and HorizontalScrollbar, click and move up.

Try again, very slowly. It is difficult to find. There is a heavier (black) line below the slider near the bottom. That heavy line is the one you want. Point to it. press the left mouse button and try dragging it upwards. You may have to do this a few times until you get the knack of it.

Re: Can't see the code window in MRI
I succeeded only once this afternoon .... (by chance)
My screen is 1080 * 1920 and may be the line is too small ?
Not possible to fix it ?

It is as it is - just point to the line, click and drag. Play with it on a test file until you get used to it.

I will not waste any more time with that.
I uninstall and continue using XRAY.

This decision looks a bit curious to me - you ask about a tricky feature in MRI and decide for Xray which still don't provide the feature ??jeanmi2403 wrote:I will not waste any more time with that.

Re: Can't see the code window in MRI
I think, the style of the subwindow separator depends on the window toolkit of the OS. I guess, MS Windows provides some way to change the appearance of window decorations, scroll bars, push buttons etc.
Anyway, even without the code window, MRI works better than XRay.

Push Ctrl + H while the listing window has focus to open or close the code window. This is described in help files of the MRI.

Re: Can't see the code window in MRI
Hallo
It works today.
I found the worry. After using Tools / Code and Tools / Code again, neither CTRL-H nor right-click works. By closing OpenOffice and opening again everything works again ...
Strange.
Thanks
