OO 4.1.1 or 4.1.2 Crash after~10sec when running MacOSX10.12. OS X 10.12 Sierra came with Java rev 8 and several posts said to try Java rev 6 but get same Crash after my Calc applications are open for ~10 seconds. Is there any fix to this. Thank for any help that can be given here.

After uninstalling the Java 8 RE, then try to install the Older version of Java (IE: Java 6 RE), No Java Icon shows up under the System Preferences. If I then reinstall OpenOffice 4.1.2, then launch it and go into preferences-General-Java, it does not show up in the as an installed JAVA version. If I click ADD and go into HD/users/Library/Java, it says that a Run time version does not exist there. I also went into System/Library/Java, but add says that the Runtime environment does not exist there either. What am I doing wrong?
