Hi,
I have written a short code for python which converts a .doc document to .html using python-uno API. Is it possible to make this work only by installing and running the openoffice service using openoffice "-accept=socket,host=localhost,port=2002;urp;"
the main question is the can I make this work by just installing openoffice.org-core package and python-uno package or do I have to install the whole openoffice.org package.I dont want java dependency. and I dont want to install the whole openoffice.and also is it possible to cut down the core package so that the size is small and it can still be used as normal.I mean atleast to convert .doc to .html
I hope you understand it.
