Converting to PDF from a Windows Service

Post by simo-04 »

Hi All,
I found interesting information and support concerning the possibility to make a batch conversion of a RTF document into a PDF one using a very good macro found in the net. I tried using both OO 2.1 and OO 2.3.
With the -invisible command line parameter, everything works fine and fast.
My problem is that I need to perform this task from a Windows service running as SYSTEM user.
Soffice.exe start running, as I see with task manager, but it does not perform the conversion
and remains hanged. Could anyone suggest to me how to make it run in this modality?
Thanks a lot in advance..

Add -nofirststartwizard to the command line. Does that help?
