Hello,

My problem:

Which File Types can UNO handle. Of Course ".odt".
But which other Files can OO read?

A wide Q. You can use UNO to talk to the Calc, Writer, Impress, Base object models; so broadly all file types supported by these interfaces. Read the SDK for more details.
Ubuntu 11.04-x64 + LibreOffice 3 and MS free except the boss's Notebook which runs XP + OOo 3.3.
