I just upgraded to High Sierra 10.13.4, only to find a warning that my WORD and OpenOffice programs soon won't work because they're not 64-bit. I downloaded the new OpenOffice 4.1.5 (twice: once from Chrome and again from Safari), but when I try to open it, I get this message, " 'OpenOffice.app' can’t be opened because it is from an unidentified developer. Your security preferences allow installation of only apps from the App Store."
However, when I go to my security preferences I only have 2 choices, to "Allow apps downloaded from App Store" or "Allow apps downloaded from App Store and identified developers." Neither works. Naturally I couldn't find the OpenOffice app on the App Store - Apple's being super proprietary, I suppose.
Is there any way around this Catch-22?
