OpenOffice 4.1.5 crash on run up on OSX High Sierra

Post by moconnell »

Hi I am running Open Office 4.1.5 on OSX 10.13.3 (High Sierra) and am getting a crash on runnup for one user account only.
I have tried the following:-
1. Restarting in SAFE mode.
2. Installing Legacy Java 6
3. Renaming the ~/library/Application Support/Open Office (to a bkp_Open Office)The user profile does not get re-created as yet.

- Both Guest and a standard user account run the application up successfully.

I have only just started using it again but is was working to save and open ODF files recently, until today

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Crash dump attached.

[Tutorial] Mac FAQ, Q15/A15? System Preferences can be set separately for each user.

We're users here, just like you, as explained in the Survival Guide. This is not the place to post a dump for developers. They won't see it.

If this solved your problem please go to your first post use the Edit button and add [Solved] to the start of the title. You can select the green checkmark icon at the same time.
