[Solved] Chart/Graph is lost
[Solved] Chart/Graph is lost
I have to record medical conditions daily and present them graphically. This worked fine until 2 days ago. Now all I get is an empty frame, I mean empty, nothing in it.
Luckily I had saved the calc sheet PDRec.ods a few days earlier on a USB stick. I renamed PDRec to PDRecgood on the stick and dragged it to the mac. Opened it and again empty frame. Did I play around with some control without knowing what I'm doing? Can somebody help?

Re: Chart/Graph is lost
Just ran an experiment: Created a chart in a calc sheet, saved it and closed it. When I re-open the chart is gone, just that empty frame. Det

There is a bug (regression} in AOO 4.1.4. It is fixed in the developer version of AOO 4.1.5.det wrote:Just ran an experiment: Created a chart in a calc sheet, saved it and closed it. When I re-open the chart is gone, just that empty frame. Det

Is it because Tools (Preferences in Mac?) > Options > OpenOffice Writer > View > Display ..., has been unticked? If so, ticking it should fix it.

As i stated in my previous post, this is a known Mac specific bug in AOO 4.1.4. A developer version has fixed the regression.

Indeed ... but for others searching with other releases it can presumably also be caused by setting View > Charts ..., to OFF.lgusaas wrote:As i stated in my previous post, this is a known Mac specific bug in AOO 4.1.4. A developer version has fixed the regression.

The problem had already been resolved.
