Hello. I am trying to export a text doc as a pdf and OpenOffice keeps crashing. It was working fine yesterday. I even updated to the latest version but this did not solve the problem. The following is what I get for details. Suggestions? Thank you!

Try one or more of these:
• Reboot your Mac
• [Tutorial] Mac FAQ, Q02/A02
• Try to reproduce the problem on the Guest Account, Q28/A28 above
• Try different combinations of selections in the File → Export as PDF dialog
• File → Print → PDF → Save as PDF

To see the PDF button in the last suggestion you need to uncheck option (Q00/A00 above) OpenOffice → General → Use OpenOffice dialogs. Other people may have the same question as you do, so please indicate which suggestion was successful.

That sort of information is only helpful to a developer, and you won't find one here. It's as meaningless to me as it is to you. This is a user-to-user forum.

Thank you, MrProgrammer. I tried the print and then save as PDF and it worked. Kept crashing otherwise but I appreciate the work-around. That really helped.

Yes! I tried your file today and it worked. Now I can export my other files as well. Thank you
