OpenOffice is only opening CVS files in Japanese and I can't figure out why. Instead of it being a table of email addresses it is one solid line across the top in Japanese. I have installed the language extension. I have removed OpenOffice and re-downloaded and re-installed and I still can not get it to work. Has anyone else had this problem? I'm on a Mac using OSX El Capitan, 10.11.5.

I finally got it to work, I had to totally uninstall OpenOffice and delete any references to OpenOffice and re-install it, then the files opened right.
