[Solved] Reopen box showing all the time

A box appears every time I open the software:
"The last time you opened OpenOffice.org, it unexpectedly quit while reopening windows. Do you want to try to reopen its windows again?"
Underneath this are two buttons to Reopen or Don't Reopen. Doesn't matter which one I click on, nothing happens and the box remains there. It won't let me cut and paste or close down Open Office and I have to force quit. How can I get rid of it?

Thank you so much for pointing me in the direction of the screenshots - I have no affinity with technology and the written instructions meant nothing to me, but as soon as I saw the visuals, no problem! Very grateful for these.

Are you still using OO 3.4? I believe this problem was fixed in the subsequent OO releases (now up to 4.1.2).

Please help, i go thought the steps listed however in the "library" from the "go menu" there isn't a file called "Saved Application State" therefore I can't go any further. Any help much appreciated.
