[Solved] Pop Up Box Concerning shutdown will not close

Post by kennedypriscilla »

At one point I had to force close my computer, including OpenOfffice. The next time I tried to open OpenOffice, it would not open from the icon, I had to open a file from Finder. When I do open a file, this box appears. This box will not close no matter what I click on and prevents the menu bar and other features from working properly. What should I do?

Hi and welcome to the forum!

See if this helps: [Solved] Latest Mac OpenOffice Reopen window won't go away.
NB: I moved your post to the Mac forum, where there are already plenty of similar topics.
Please embed directly your pic instead of putting it in a docx file (I've change that).

Please add [Solved] at the beginning of the title in your first post (top of the topic) with the edit button if your issue has been fixed.

Use Forum search (at top right of Forum Window) to search for "Reopen" (no quotes). This is a common problem on Macs and has been answered many times.

Thank you. I did use search first, but was using the wrong search words I guess. Sorry for the trouble. I will try to do better in the future.
