[Solved] El Capitan - OpenOffice 4.1 - Database Issues

Hello,

I am just about to throw this software because I cannot get the database element to work.

When I run the create table wizard, I get the popup and run through it. I can then NOT open the table for any further changes and the program locks.
When I try to create a table in design mode, nothing happens and the application will not quit and I need to force quit.

Any ideas? I have Java installed correctly.

If this solved your problem please go to your first post use the Edit button and add [Solved] to the start of the title. You can select the green checkmark icon at the same time.

You can reinstall an earlier version which does not have this problem.

Hi, Base OO version 4.1.1 works well in Mac OSX 10.11.2.

Is the solution to this issue to wait for a fix? Back rev? If back rev of OpenOffice then where do I find that?

The solution seems to be going back to V4.1.1 until 4.1.2 is fixed. Download here http://www.openoffice.org/download/. Choose your OSX version and the AOO version using the drop down boxes.
