Blank Recovered Spreadsheet

Post by jonathan.cobb »

Hoping someone can help!

My Open Office crashed opening a large csv file and when I went to recover the other file I was working on all the data within the spreadsheet is blank.

Is there a way of restoring an older version.

Do you have a backup? or Time Machine?

Do you have "Always save backup" checked in AOO's preferences.

PS: Start using a multiple redundancy backup system. Otherwise you might lose everything on your computer.

I didn't have the 'always save' option enabled - this is useful for the future, thanks.

I guess I need to start again.....
