[Solved] Restore windows

Post by nestegg52 »

I am having problems with open office 4, every time I start it I get A "Restore windows" dialog box that says "The application “OpenOffice” unexpectedly quit while trying to restore its windows. Do you want to try to restore its windows again?" at the bottom of the dialog it has two buttons 1. Don't Restore Windows 2. Restore Windows.
I have clicked on both buttons but the program is just frozen and I have to close it down with command Quit, anything I open with the program cannot be saved. I have tried uninstalling the program and then re-installing it, but it is still the same, any help please?

Try resetting the user profile

Often this cures strange AOO behaviour.
