Blurred text after using powerpoint, unable to view document

I had trouble projecting a powerpoint image for a meeting using open office with my mac. The computer was projecting an image too large to view. A gentleman helped me and after playing with the computer, the issue was resolved. However, I'm not exactly sure what we did, and now I am unable to view any documents due to blurred text that cannot be read. I am at a loss as to what the issue is. I think it is specific to Oo since all the other programs are fine. Any insight would be greatly appreciated since I am currently unable to work on important documents.
