[Solved] Where is folder "My Templates" on a Mac?

Post by stefanmaine »

I am using OpenOffice 3 on a MacBook Pro with Snow Leopard. At File>New>Templates & Documents, there appears at the top of the dialog box "Templates & Documents - My Templates" and in the column at the left is "Templates". Where is that folder? How do I save a template I design to that templates folder, so that when I click File>New>Templates & Documents, a template I create will appear and be available? Thank you.

Under Tools> Preferences> OpenOffice.org> Paths you will find a list of paths to different items, Templates is one of those. That said the best way to save and make sure is to use File> Template> Save.
