[Dropped] How do i save my files from OpenOffice?

Post by MrJohnS33 »

Edit: Split from Problems Downloading OpenOffice 4.1.11
This question about saving files appears to be unrelated to the original topic about downloading the suite. Please review our forum policy: One issue, one thread. As a new poster, I have split your posts for you. But you should not put unrelated questions in one topic. Questions are not related simply because they come from you. It also says: No multi- or cross-posting. You did that with your first two identical posts. A review of all the material in that topic (Survival Guide) will help you stay out of trouble here.

Use the menu item File -> Save. Do you have a problem using that?

Always save your document into the native, international ODF file formats.

Sometimes, the updates of the Windows, and the Defender software causes some problems with the Write Rights of the document directories. Set the rights, or try the LibreOffice.
