OpenOffice crashing on Mac

Hey there.

I'm new to this and was wondering whether someone could tell me why my OpenOffice crashes every time. I've downloaded the latest versions of both Java and the OpenOffice. Despite all of this, it keeps on crashing and is unusable. Please help

There are other similar topics in this forum. Just scroll down a bit. Read them to see what others have done.

Also read Q22/A22.

If this solved your problem please go to your first post use the Edit button and add [Solved] to the start of the subject field. Select the green checkmark icon at the same time.
