Read-only on all files restored after OS reinstall

Post by banjobll »

Hi - I am using Open Office 4.1.6, and iMac OS Big Sur 11.2.3
I recently had "freezing" problems address by "geek squad" at Best Buy. OS was reinstalled.

now all my Open Office documents show up as "(read only)" documents. How can I change theM back to documents that I can work on?

thank you
Bill

If you just had the work done, I'd report the problem to Best Buy. They did not restore your system to a usable state. Otherwise …
