[Solved] OpenOffice 4.1.9 and Mac Big Sur 11.2

I can't install Open Office 4.19 onto my Mac. The system just freezes.

Can you describe the actual steps you took, including from whence you downloaded the software, and exactly what happened?

I downloaded the program, dragged it to the Quicken folder. It did something because there was a blue line that went through. Then there was a screen with nothing in it and my system got the no response wheel. I left it on there for a while thinking that it might be loading but nothing happened,

What happens if you try to install according to the instructions in Tutorial: Mac FAQ Q03/A03. Please carefully read and follow the instructions, as they may be slightly different than your usual way of installing a program.

If you get a message saying the program cannot be installed, or similar, see Q05/A05.
